Tessa is a registered nurse, certified personal trainer, and certified Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach. Tessa earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in 2014. She went on to earn her second degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from ECPI University, in 2018. Tessa provides intravenous vitamin and hydration therapy as well as vitamin injections in our upscale IV therapy lounge. Tessa collaborates with a local physician to ensure quality care.
Tessa’s training philosophy is that each client is different and should be treated as such. There is not one training program that works for everyone, but everyone can benefit from some style of resistance training. Tessa takes the time to evaluate her clients preferences and past experiences to formulate a training plan that is easy to comply with and allows for optimal results. Tessa has a unique ability to connect with her clients in a way that allows them to feel less intimidated by exercise, as well as more comfortable and confident every time they exercise. In some cases, Tessa collaborates with Dr. Morris to develop safe and effective training plans that can accommodate clients with pre-existing conditions, injuries, or fears.
Tessa works with clients to develop a nutrition strategy that is completely goal-based and individualized. There are many different types of diets and nutrition strategies available, but the only ones that work are the ones that can be complied with. Tessa takes the extra time to find out client preferences and past nutritional history to find out what type of plan is most appropriate for that individual to set them up for success. Tessa has helped countless clients lose weight, increase muscle mass, and feel more confident using all different types of eating strategies.
